HELPING TO BRING THE BEST TALENTED FEMALE BASKETBALL PLAYERS FROM EUROPE INTO THE USA COLLEGE SYSTEM!

Playing USA Basketball: NCAA, NAIA & Junior College

This page gives an overview of the process and administration procedures for athletes interested in playing Basketball at a college in the USA.

Assuming you have the potential and have discussed the idea with your family and coach then you can start the registration process, the information is split into 3 sections; Eligibility To Play, the Recruiting Process and Choosing a College, Admin after you have committed to a school.

Briefly These are the things that you have to get done

1.    Register with the NCAA Clearing house & Get copies of your

       school reports/transcripts

2.    Register to take your tests ( SAT or ACT & TOEFL)

3.    Get a game tape ready to send or upload.

Video should be of full games, highlight clips are ok to get a quick idea of how you play but coaches will always want to see whole game footage and recent.  You can upload to sites like www.vimeo.com  for free.

Information for Parents

We understand how daunting it is to consider your daughter leaving home to play Basketball in America for four years! Whilst we can not make that process any easier we hope to offer some clarity to the process and we our always on hand to support and advise you should you need it.

Firstly we must clarify how we work; our service provides the information to USA coaches about players from Europe who are hoping to secure a scholarship. It is then the responsibility of those Universities to recruit your daughter our service if free of charge to you and your family. (You will find other services that charge hundreds of Euros)

There are several steps that your daughter will need to take to ensure that she is eligible to play Basketball in America and these are explained in details on the player information page.
